In life, you’ll always have that person that sets the standard for all of your bonds.

Drew is my younger brother. No matter the time apart, our bond is unbreakable. We’ve chosen to place loyalty first, always. Something that in this life, I never take for granted. I was always hard on him. As his big brother, I wanted him to be strong and independent. I would show him tough love at home, but in the world, I always spoke my baby brother up as a king, as a great man.

We had an unorthodox childhood, each going on our own journeys away from the pack…but always returning. When we’d return, we’d do so with new triumphs and new traumas alike. The chemistry created fuel we use for the mission we’ve been on since kids. Now we have our own boys, Caine & Amiri, to instill family values into and leave a legacy behind.

MBK is a saying my brother and I used as kids. To us now, it represents the blood, sweat and tears on our journey. It represents articulate, creative and intellectual young men from urban environments all over, who prioritize loyalty and growth.
Now, not only is it about brotherhood and manhood but even more importantly, fatherhood.
