Life and Times: Story of Caine, 2019

60” x 48”

To: Caine

Fatherhood

Being a constant and consistent force in my boy’s life is the greatest blessing I could ask for. Before he was here I spent insane amounts of time wondering what’d he be like, and even more time than that, fine-tuning myself to be someone he can look up to, someone that he can be proud of.

They say you change, in parenthood. I’d like to think I’ve evolved and I know I will evolve again. Evolve into whoever he needs me to be, whenever he needs me to be.

I want to teach him…every and anything under the Sun.

I want to love him.

And that I do, so much it would hurt the average man.

To my boy…

Papa loves you always.
